Consider the 1 in 60 rule

If you're a pilot, you're taught the 1 in 60 rule, which states that after 60 miles a small one degree error in the way the plane is heading will result in straying off course by one mile. Ultimately, the plane will not land at its desired destination unless the appropriate course corrections are made.
I think this is a brilliant metaphor for life and an encouraging one at that. Yes, it implies that even small decisions and actions can lead us completely off course in the long-run. However, it also shows that it only takes small changes in behaviour - or perhaps tiny adjustments in our thought life - for us to make a hugely positive difference to our futures.
What small changes in behaviour or mindset have you made that you're now reaping the rewards for? What little course corrections could you make to ensure you are heading towards your desired destination?
Contact me if you'd like a co-pilot to help you with this (in the form of a coach!).
