New Year reflections

January offers a chance to reflect on past successes and areas for growth.

For me, 2025 brought a lot of change in my career as a coach and as a marketing consultant.

In collaboration with a wonderful coaching friend, I launched the @belong_uk programme. We’ve had the privilege of working with several groups of women, across a range of demographics, helping them to grow in self-awareness and self-confidence, as well as to develop new friendships.

Belong had been 2 years in the making. So, it has been a joy to see it help so many and to grow beyond our expectations. I can’t wait to see what 2026 brings! Keep an eye on my posts for opportunities to join a Belong programme if you haven’t already.

I also recorded my Bible-focused coaching programme, Equipped, enabling more people to gain emotional wellbeing through an online, self-paced series of videos, accompanied by a workbook. Check out this link for more info https://www.coachingtimewithkatie.com/programmes

This was only possible because I lost my marketing job in April, due to the company going under. So, while one door closed another opened, so to speak, as it afforded me time to create the online Equipped…

And then another door opened shortly afterwards as an old colleague approached me about a marketing opportunity. The new role is closer to home; uses a wider range of my skills; and fits with my coaching and family life perfectly.

So, what did I learn in 2025?

- I learnt that long-held dreams can come to fruition with hard work and persistence.

- I learnt that some things need to come to an end for others to come to life.

- I learnt that growth isn’t always straightforward or predictable so be prepared to flex!

What did you learn in 2025?
